We are seeking a dynamic and consultative Security Sales Specialist to drive the growth of our Managed SOC, MDR services, security assessments, and broader cybersecurity portfolio. In this role, you will engage with CISOs, IT security leaders, and key decision-makers to understand evolving threats, identify security gaps, and deliver tailored, solution-driven offerings that create measurable business value. As part of a high-performing sales team, you will leverage a strategic, client-first approach to build trusted relationships, expand our customer base, and position our services as a competitive advantage. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales leadership, inside sales teams, pre-sales engineers, and delivery teams to identify prospects and build strong client relationships using advanced sales and marketing tools.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, prospect evaluation, and solution-based analysis.
  • Partner with account executives and inside sales to create and execute strategic territory plans that meet revenue objectives.
  • Drive growth of Managed Security Services, focusing on mid-market and cross-industry clients.
  • Continuously enhance professional and technical knowledge through certifications, workshops, and industry engagement.
  • Lead the development of service contracts, including SLAs, SOWs, and customized terms aligned with client requirements, in collaboration with technical and delivery teams.
  • Travel approximately 15–20% to support client engagements and business development activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in security sales within an IT environment.
  • STEM undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiation and consultative selling approaches.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding customer service and relationship management skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Location: United States (East Region).
